BACKGROUND
Dr. Marrix Seymore, Sr., Ph.D Marrix “Dr. Sey” Seymore is an Architect of Vision, called to glorify God by strengthening the leaders and institutions that serve His people. He has partners with churches, educational agencies, and mission-driven organizations to bridge the gap between divine calling and operational excellence.
Dr. Sey has spent my career at the intersection of leadership, learning, and service. Not because he planned it that way, but because his calling kept leading back to the same truth: organizations rise or fall on the quality of their leaders, and leaders rise or fall on the quality of their formation.
For more than twenty years, Dr. Seymore served as a K-12 administrator, school reform director, then university administrator, and compliance consultant. He developed curricula, mentored faculty, and guided institutions through periods of growth and change. Dr. Seymore learned what it takes to professionalize a workforce—and what happens when capable people are promoted without the tools to lead.
Long before Dr. Seymore was a dean, he was a pastor. He is an ordained Elder by both the Missionary Baptist Church and the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. The pastoral vocation taught him that the deepest organizational challenges are almost always human challenges. It also taught Dr. Seymore that trust can be rebuilt, communication restored, and dignity honored—when someone shows up consistently, listens carefully, and stays present through difficulty.
Currently, Dr. Seymore is the founder, CEO, and principal consultant of MoreSey & Associates, a global educational consulting firm. He is also the Dean of the Kingdom Institute, a community of learners, whose mission is to develop the Spiritual gifts of men and women to be transformative agents of the Kingdom of God in their professional spheres- the marketplace, the arts, technology, and public service.
